Sean started as a co-ed Carroll College Cheerleader and then was on an open co-ed cheer squad. Sean has coached high school cheerleading for over 8 years. He has attended High School Nationals for 7 years and his teams have won state championships. He also has coached for 3 years at the middle school level. Sean has also created competition routine music for local cheer, pom and all-star dance teams since 2003.
Sean started coaching at Heat Athletics in 2011 with their level 5 team. Sean fell in love with All-Star Cheerleading so he purchased Heat Athletics All-Stars in 2013. Sean is AACA safety certified, AED, CPR, Heatstroke and concussion certified, Special Needs Team coaching certified, a USASF credentialer of levels 1-5, a Midwest board member of the USASF and is US All Star Federation credentialed Levels 1-5 for Tumbling, Stunts and Basket Tosses.
Brandi is new to the Heat Athletics family, but not new to cheerleading. She has coached grade school through competitive high school cheerleading since 1995. Her varsity team attended the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championships every year she coached and won numerous state and local titles. She also helped establish and coach youth through senior teams with another local all-star program. Currently she coaches grade school cheerleading at St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Muskego. Brandi received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in early childhood from Carroll College and has been in the teaching field for over 18 years. She is married to Sean and has two wonderful children Brandon (17) and Molly (14).
Roy Spieckerman-Tumbling Director and All-Star Coach
Roy originally joined Heat Athletics as a cheerleader in 2009 competing on our levels 3-5 teams. Prior to Heat Athletics Roy was a Level 8 competitive gymnast at LeFleur’s Gymnastics. He has won numerous individual and team gymnastics awards including the 2006 AAU Group Mens National Championships- Level 5.
In 2012 Roy joined our staff and has since coached Smoke, Inferno, Sparks, Lightning, and Wildfire. In addition to coaching teams, he has also coaches a wide variety of our tumbling, stunting, conditioning, and jump classes. In the 2014-2015 season Roy took one season off from Heat to pursue one of his dreams and became a member of Top Gun Large coed in Miami, FL. There he won many national titles from All-Star Challenge, Cheersport, NCA, and Champions League 2. In addition to being a National Champion, he has also placed 2nd place at the Cheerleading Worlds in the Large Coed division. Roy is USASF credentialed in levels 1-5 on tumbling, stunting and tosses.
Sarah Luna – All Star Coach
Sarah started her cheerleading career at Oak Creek East Middle School for three years and was captain her final 8th grade year. She did competitive cheerleading at Oak Creek High School for two years and was captain. Sarah joined Heat for her last two years of high school and was apart of Heat Athletics Firestorm for two years. She was elected captain her senior year. She competed at the Cheerleading Worlds both years and was a part of the 8th place finishing team in 2012. At the season banquet she received the Team Leadership Award for 2011 and 2012.
Sarah has been coaching for three years (levels 2-4) and is USASF credentialed for levels 1-5 in stunts, baskets, and tumbling. Sarah is also CPR and First Aid certified. Sarah is currently studying to become a Registered Nurse at Alverno College.
Breanne Sage- All Star Coach
Bre began her all-star coaching career at Heat Athletics in 2005 until 2011. Bre’s expertise in tumbling comes from being a highly decorated nationally competitive gymnast for fourteen years at M&M Gymnastics in New Berlin, Wisconsin. She held the title of Wisconsin State vault champion for ten consecutive years. Bre is returning to Heat Athletics after spending 5 years in St. Louis, where she coached tumbling and cheer at Cheer Legendz in Chesterfield, Missouri. Bre is attending college and studying to become a Labor and Delivery Nurse.
Michelle Kiese – All Star Coach
Michelle joined Heat as an All-Star coach in the 2017-2018 Season. Michelle Kiese is a NFHS Accredited and Credentialed Interscholastic Coach, and is AACCA certified in Spirit Safety and Risk Management. She is also American Red Cross certified in First Aid, and CPR/AED for Adults, Youth and Infants. Coach Michelle is originally from the sunny shores of Oahu, Hawaii, but is proud to now call Brookfield, WI her home.
Coach Michelle has eight years of coaching experience, working with cheerleaders in elementary and middle school. She coached two Senior Recreational Cheer teams that represented Wisconsin at the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championships in 2014 and 2015 (7th Place both years), and the ICU World School Cheerleading Championships in 2015 (4th Place). She has six years of choreography experience, and has also been honored to sit on try-out judging panels for some of Wisconsin’s top high school cheerleading programs for the past 5 years. She was recently nominated for the Elmbrook School District’s 2016 Engaged In Excellence Awards for her efforts as Administrator & Head Coach of Brookfield Youth Junior Lancer Cheerleading.
Coach Michelle has two children, Nick (20) and Meghan (16). She enjoys being her children’s cheerleader as they both very active in academics and sports (cheerleading, martial arts, track and field, and wrestling). In her “spare” time, she enjoys volunteering on the Executive Board of the Brookfield Central HS Athletic Booster Club, gardening, reading, and knitting.
Alisha Gretenhardt – All Star Coach
Alisha cheered for Oak Creek High School sideline & competitive cheer programs all 4 years of high school. In addition to regional & state championships, Oak Creek High School cheer squad attended the UCA National competition in Orlando, FL all 4 years. Alisha was also a member of the 4-girl Stunt competition at UCA Nationals. In addition to her high school program, Alisha was a member of the Wisconsin All Star team competing & traveling throughout the Midwest, Australia & Hawaii. In addition to her cheer experience, Alisha has coached All Star Cheer since 2009 and owned an prior to moving to Wisconsin, owned an All Star Cheer facility in Minnesota for the past 5 years. Her All Star Cheer teams have won multiple National Championships, as well as 2 Silver Medal finishes at the International All Star Championships in Orlando, Florida. Outside of team coaching Alisha has choreographed for programs in Minnesota & Wisconsin. She is also actively involved in judging cheerleading competitions throughout the Midwest. As a judge, she specializes in both building & tumbling technique.
Haley Kruchten- All Star Coach
Haley is from the Minneapolis area originally, and she got involved with All-Star Cheerleading through her gymnastics gym where a team called Southwest All Stars was renting space. She was a gymnast for years, but ended up falling in love with the team aspect that All-Star Cheerleading provided. She cheered with Southwest All Stars for a little over two seasons from 2007-2009. She then cheered at Planet Spirit for two seasons from 2009-2011. She went to college at Iowa State in the fall of 2011, and majored in Apparel Merchandising and Design, with an emphasis in Marketing and Consumer Behavior. She then interned with Kohl’s at their corporate office in Menomonee Falls in the buying office during the summer of 2014, and accepted a full time position upon graduation. She moved to Milwaukee permanently in January of 2015, and have been enjoying Wisconsin every since!

Beth Brester – Special Athlete Coach
Beth is a lifelong Pewaukee resident and graduate of Pewaukee HS. She attended UW Stout. She was lucky enough to have been hired to coach cheerleading at her alma mater for the past 15 years. She retired from that position in May and has been taking judges training classes. 3 years ago PHS was able to start the Sparkle Crew cheer team and she was honored to work with those athletes. During the day she is a Certified ParaOptometic Tech in Hartland. In her free time she and her husband enjoy traveling, visiting our 4 adult children and she tries to attend as many Brewers games as possible.

Lauren Leonardi – All Star Junior Coach Flames
Lauren is going into her junior year at Hamilton High School and her 6th season as an athlete at Heat Athletics! She has been a part of the Junior 2, Senior 3, Junior 4 and Senior 4 teams throughout her years at Heat. Aside from all-star cheer Lauren also was part of her middle school cheer team for 2 years. Lauren is very excited to turn her love for cheer over to our younger athletes!

Abby Ignatowski – Junior Staff
Abby is a sophmore at Arrowhead High School and has been cheering with Heat Athletics for three years. Prior to competing with Heat Athletics, she cheer at All That Cheer in Round Rock, Texas for 4 years. Abby has competed at levels 1-4, and is currently going for a Summit Bid with her level 4 team, Firebolt. Abby has 4 younger sisters, giving her much experience with children, also creating her love for working with and coaching children. Currently she is a Sparklers helper, and teaches tiny/mini classes. Abby is excited to share her love of cheerleading with younger athletes as she continues to cheer at Heat Athletics!
Jessica Mysliwski – Junior Staff
Jessica is a junior at Hamilton High School where she is at the top of her class. She has been an athlete at Heat Athletics since 2012 where she has competed on levels 1-4. Before cheerleading, Jessica was a gymnast at LeFleur’s Gymnastics for 7 years, and M&M Gymnastics for 2 years. Jessica absolutely loves helping out with the special needs teams, Sparklers! They remind her how fun all-star cheerleading is. Also, Jessica coaches the Tiny/Mini Tumbling, Parks and Rec Tumbling and Cheer 101 classes. She has a great time teaching skills to the young tumblers and cheerleaders!
Berna Lewandowski – Administrative Staff
Berna has been a part of the Heat family for 9 years. Her daughter Hana competed on teams throughout middle school and high school. Her daughter, Hana now attends UWO. Berna is married to Mark and has two children. Her son, Eric, is married to Kristi and is an Army Soldier. Heat has brought her such joy. Her experience with her wonderful daughter Hana, and amazing friends, Darlene, Nancy and Sue will always be treasured. She loves working at Heat Athletics and baking. H-E-A-T, Lets Go Heat!
Terry Spieckerman – Administrative Staff
Terry is a former Gymnastics & Cheer Mom of Mary (2009-2012 Heat Athletics Blaze, Inferno, Wildfire Teams) and Roy (2009 – 2014 Heat Athletics Wildfire, Fury, Firestorm teams, & 2014-2015 Top Gun Large Coed)
Terry retired from AT&T as a Senior Technical Project Manager at the end of Dec 2013 after 34.5 years of service. She joined the Heat Athletics Team in October 2015.
Terry has been married to her husband, Roy since 1992. In addition to their 2 children, they have 2 furry family members and 2 (future cheerleaders) granddaughters.
Michelle Marshall – Administrative Staff
Michelle has been a part of the Heat family for over 6 years. Her all-star cheer exposure started with her niece Kassidy who passed her passion on to Michelle’s daughter Gabi. Michelle feels because of all-star cheer Gabi has grown in confidence and compassion as well as physical strength.
Michelle has recently left the healthcare field after many years to spend more time with her family. She is married to David and also has a son named Jaxon. Jaxon has a love of soccer and is currently on a select team. David and Jaxon like to support Gabi at competitions and ‘cheer’ her on when their schedule permits.
Jennifer Ignatowski – Administrative Staff
This is the third competition season at Heat Athletics for the Ignatowski family. Jennifer’s two daughters, Abby and Katie, discovered their love for All-Star Cheer seven years ago, when they lived in Texas prior to relocating to Wisconsin. They are on Lightning, the Junior Level 4 team this year.
Jennifer has been married to her husband, Troy, since 1999 and they have five daughters – Abby, Katie, Sophie, Molly, and Jane. They spend their time driving to and from cheer, soccer, basketball, and softball practices and enthusiastically encouraging their children during games and competitions.
She taught second grade for ten years before “retiring” to spend more time with her family.
