  • 2014-2015 Teams

    Good afternoon!


    We are so excited for the amazing amount of talent and awesome athletes we had try out this year! Attached you will find the seven all-star teams we will have for the 2014-2015 season, including their coaches and summer practice times (May 12th – August 23rd). Remember, all teams are listed by athlete ID number. If you do not know your athlete ID number, please reach out to us.  


    To officially join the 2014-2015 Heat Athletics family, please complete and return pages 9-12 of our registration packet, prior to your first practice.

    General Team Information


    You will note each team has a stunt level and a tumbling level listed. The final level for each team will be determined by choreography based on the progress made over the first half of summer. You will see we have not filled every team to allow growth, opportunity and flexibility between teams as we lead up to competition season.


    For those of you who would like to crossover and currently are not on a second team, please contact us regarding what team you would like to be considered for. We will be maintaining an alternate/crossover list for each team, if the need arises for a replacement or addition to any of our teams.


    Please note, the following teams will practice 6 hours a week and therefore be charged the Mini/Youth tuition rate: Flames, Radiance and Ignite. We will also consider taking Ignite to UCA Nationals in Florida, based on parents’ preference.


    Also note, the following teams will practice 8 hours a week and therefore be charged the Junior/Senior tuition rate: Inferno, Wildfire, Fury and Firestorm. These are also the teams we plan on taking to UCA Nationals in Florida or the USASF Worlds, also in Florida.


    Upcoming Events


    To make your lives easier and ensure you aren’t missing anything, we have put together monthly All-Star calendars for you to review (You will see May and June attached). These include regular practices, but also special events, and gym closings. We will typically release these at least a month in advance for the remainder of the season. Events within the next week are as follows:


    -          May 9th: 6-8pm – Kick-Off Event for all All-Star teams; This event will allow you to meet your coaches, meet your teammates, parents to meet one another, turn in your registration paperwork, get sized for shoes, uniform and practice wear and some fun surprises

    -          May 10th & 11th: 2-6pm – Open Office Hours to turn in registration paperwork

    -          May 12th or 13th  First Team Practices

    Items to Return


    All athletes must complete and return the attached medical release form, as well as the concussion agreement form. Both of these items must be returned to their head coaches to ensure they are made aware of any prior conditions or injuries. New athletes must also turn in a copy of your birth certificate. We will need this to create your USASF athlete membership required for all all-star athletes. Please return these items by Saturday, May 24th.




    In addition, we plan to have two limited travel teams this year, beginning in September/October. If you know of anyone who might want to give all star cheerleading a try, please let them know about this possibility.  We hope to have a Mini/Youth team and then a Junior/Senior team.


    We are also very excited to be starting a Special Needs program this fall! We are very much looking forward to providing this awesome experience! Please contact us for additional information or if you are interested in volunteering for this program!

    All classes run May 27th - August 23rd, with no classes scheduled July 1st - 6th.

    We will continue to offer our Tumbling, Top Girl, and Twirl & Tumble classes!

    We are very excited to be offering a Tumbling for Dancers class this summer!
